March 3, 2017 John Bierly And… I’m interested. I love the Frankenstein’s Monster vibe; oddly enough, this seems like the way Raimi might have done Electro, doesn’t it? Not to mention the inherent wattage of Jamie Foxx’s star power. Again, we’ve got Marvel characters stealing the SDCC thunder already, and projects we don’t even know about will undoubtedly be announced in big ways by weekend’s end. Meanwhile, DC appears to have sunk all its effort into a life-sized Lego Superman. Okay. Adrian Edmondson So no mention so far of any DC movie related news ? So is DC going to just stick with producing better animated movies than Marvel and let Marvel make the more mainstream loved movies ? Come on announce something …. John Bierly Don’t be so hard on DC, Adrian! They brought a glass case with Tom Welling’s spray-painted SMALLVILLE shirt inside it! Adrian Edmondson LOL John Bierly Ha, SURELY they’ll AT LEAST announce a sequel to MAN OF STEEL, right? Currently sitting at $620 million internationally with a further $170 million from all its promotional and product tie-ins, and you know it’ll be a juggernaut on home video. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Unless their big announcement is that SMALLVILLE will be released on VHS since they still refuse to spend the money to render the first season’s effects for Blu-ray. Adrian Edmondson Nope , they are going for the laser disc format on that one 🙂 I kid but maybe something will get announced , like maybe brainiac for the main baddie . Good to hear MoS is doing well overseas Naes “$170 million from all its promotional and product tie-ins”… to offset the at least $150 million dollar advertising budget. Yep, and all they had to do was fight in an IHOP and in front of SEARS and 7/11. stock Where’s his Nosferatu ears? I’m guessing that’s his USB port on his head. And what’s with that stupid grin? Life’s been good to me.
