Captain America New ‘Captain America’ Concept Art written by Sean Gerber July 11, 2013 Entertainment Weekly has exclusively released this ferocious piece of concept art from “Captain America: The Winter Solider.” Cap and his former pal Bucky, now known as The Winter Solider, are at the head of what looks to be a massive firefight. Cap seems a little more prepared for battle this time compared to the previously released concept art featuring The Winter Solider striking the former’s iconic shield. I actually didn’t notice him the first few times I saw the picture. For as much as I applaud Marvel Studios for going full blown comic book with characters like Thor, Cap and Iron Man (and Thanos), it seems like most of the supporting characters (Nick Fury, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and now The Falcon) are just taking a page out of Fox’s “black-leather-costume” handbook. Not that I was expecting a white and red costume, but I did want something a bit more aesthetically interesting for The Falcon. Oh well. As cool as this image was, seeing the mock poster for Hayley Atwell’s “Agent Carter” Marvel One Shot was the highlight of Cap stuff in Entertainment Weekly for me. http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/818/n371.jpg Stock Oh my God! Bucky’s not dead after all. And he’s p.o.’d at Cap for letting him die. Even though he didn’t really die, and Cap didn’t really kill him anyway. People die in war but he didn’t. So he should call himself Lucky. Lucky Bucky. Not the Winter Soldier. Lucky Bucky, the guy who can fall off a speeding train high in the mountains and live. Lucky Bucky. Its got a ring to it, don’t it?
