X-Men ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Logo & Sentinel Head from SDCC written by Sean Gerber July 18, 2013 Via the film’s official Facebook page, here is the first official logo for next summer’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” What’s more exciting, however, are the photos of a Trask Industries Sentinel head the folks at First Showing snapped this morning. In addition, here is the Silver Samurai armor from “The Wolverine.” ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Logo & Sentinel Head from SDCC was last modified: February 21st, 2016 by Sean Gerber Related X-Men: Days of Future Past 14 comments 0 Facebook Twitter Google + Pinterest Sean Gerber Sean Gerber is the founder and editor-in-chief of Modern Myth Media. Seriously, that Sentinel head is the most exciting image I’ve seen from the X-Men franchise since X2. That’s not a knock on the franchise, but a compliment on the image above. John Bierly Agreed. The Sentinel head is outrageous, and I love it. I’m a little concerned about the Silver Samurai suit — it looks great, but one of the things I was hoping for THE WOLVERINE was fewer special effects and more focus on the human element. Real fights with real grit and real choreography as opposed to someone fighting a visual effect. There’s certainly some of that in the clips we’ve seen so far, so hopefully that’ll be mostly what we get. I remain excited for it. JRocka Not sure where to put this, but John should try the Wolverine berserker burger at Red Robin. Much better than Carl’s Jrs Superburger. So hungry thinking about it. Michael Lalaian I’d rather it didn’t have the glass plate in front, but other than that, yeah, that’s pretty sweet. I’m actually looking forward to this quite a bit. I almost wish they would take a page out of WB’s playbook and drop the term “X-Men” from the title and just call it “Days of Future Past.” That just has such a great ring to it. Also, anyone else notice that Trask and Stark have the exact same letters? Just a funny coincidence. John Bierly Who’s got Wesley Snipes’s number? I have an idea for DAYS OF FUTURE PASSENGER 57 that would blow his mind. Adrian Edmondson Just imagine Wesley standing tall over a defeated Sentinel saying ” always bet on black ” lol DZS sweet.any predictions yet on which movie dominates 2014?winter soldier?Guardians of the galaxy? or Days of future past? Sean Gerber In terms of box office? “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” In terms of fan reception? It’s a toss up between “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” Michael Lalaian I’m not counting out Guardians yet. I know I should keep my expectations in check, but I have so much confidence in what Marvel is going to achieve with that property. I don’t think it will make more money than The Amazing Spider-Man 2 or Captain America: The Winter Soldier (which should see a significant box office bump following The Avengers), but i think it could make more than Days of Future Past. As for reception, TASM2, DOFP and CA:TWS are all shaping up to be on the more “serious” side, so I think Guardians could be a run away hit and audience pleaser with just how much fun it could be. Of the four films, GOTG has the most potential for “Hulk Smash Loki”-type moments and a whole lot of heart. Andrew Custer Love the title card! Sleek and simple. I agree with Michael, time to drop the “X-Men” and go Dark Knight Trilogy/ Man of Steel with this and future titles. 🙂 Sentinel head looks boss! hopefully we get full on sentinels this time and not just the head. stock I’m just hoping to see old man Logan fried to his adamantium skeletal frame in front of middle aged Kitty Pride. Then I’ve got my money’s worth. YEAARRRGHH! Naes In all fairness, I think people who can shoot lasers out of their eyes, read minds, or turn any objects into bombs should be closely monitored. Scarlet witch rewrote all of existence. I mean I have to have a license for a handgun. So, 3 cheers for the Sentinels and the order they bring! Sean Gerber Honestly, this is one of the best comments ever posted on the site. Well done!
