Movies MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Reveals First Poster written by Robert Reineke July 23, 2014 While waiting for BATMAN V SUPERMAN to wrap production and post-production before debuting in 2016, Warner Bros. has a full year of films to market. They’ve unveiled the first look at MAD MAX: FURY ROAD today, and they’re clearly aiming to recreate the iconography of the original series. The best news, not a photoshopped head in sight! Warner Bros. has already started hyping the film, with Entertainment Weekly featuring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron on the cover. Maybe with good reason as the buzz about the movie is super strong and indicates that George Miller may have returned to action filmmaking with a vengeance. Of course, we’re 10 months away from seeing the film, and being able to separate hype from reality. But a poster that makes the world look hot and dirty at least indicates that they know what the franchise is about. Feel free to chime in below with your thoughts.
