Movies MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Releases One Last Trailer written by Robert Reineke March 31, 2015 MAD MAX has been defunct as a franchise for nearly 30 years. It sure looks poised for a big comeback. It’s less than 2 months from its release date and time for one final(?) trailer that looks just as crazy as everything we’ve seen so far. The new poster claims that “the future belongs to the mad” and this trailer sure looks like it. It also looks very exciting and a film where the images are telling a story. Watch just how much movement there is in any shot, dust blowing in the wind, the vehicles, crowds reacting, fire and smoke, sparks flying, and explosions. Couple that with the camera moving and the editing cutting on movement, and you just have a kinetic, visceral experience already. I have high expectations for this. I’m sure this isn’t for everyone, but my ticket is already sold.
