Justice League Warner Bros. Introduces The JUSTICE LEAGUE At Comic-Con written by Sean Gerber July 24, 2016 Warner Bros. surprised the Hall H crowd at Comic-Con with the cast of and footage from Justice League. The teaser was then immediately shared online so that fans at home could tap into some of the electric atmosphere that those of us inside the hall were feeling. Immediately, the attitude and tone of this film feel very different from director Zack Snyder’s last DC movie, Batman v Superman. You can hear my reaction to the Justice League trailer and Hall H presentation in the new MMM podcast (starting at 12:20), then share your thoughts on the teaser in the comments section. Warner Bros. March 3, 2017 Robert Reineke “I am when it’s useful. ” is a very solid Batman line. And the Seven Samurai structure is very proven cinematically. It looks like they’re on the right track. Joshua Nathan Strong Snyder has been talking about his love of Seven Samurai since the 300 days and what it has meant to him as a kid, its really cool to finally see him do his own version of that. And remember that rumor of him doing a Star Wars film based on Seven Samurai? Robert Reineke Yeah and frankly that always sounded like the best idea for a spin off. Nayan Desai The footage was very encouraging, a lot of good stuff and some much needed levity which was great to see! There has always been humor in the comics of DC, and its taken til now to get that across to audiences on screen? About time!. Few details about villains and whatnot, which was a shame, but i guess we will hear soon enough. As a DC fan first and foremost, it is a little bit heartbreaking to see that picture of the Justice League above without Green Lantern. Sure we are getting Green Lantern down the line, but it looks very strange without him in that line up.. Hal and Barry, to me, have always been the heart to that team. Charlie I didn’t care much for the JL trailer. Don’t get me wrong, these films were in major need of having some levity added to them, but now that it’s here it just doesn’t feel like it fits. This is exactly why Snyder should have made more of an effort to not have both MOS, and BvS be so deathly serious. At the very least MOS should have been a lighter film then it was. Then they could have gone as dark as did with BvS, and then back to some light with JL, but he didn’t, and now it’s just out of place.
