WB Speaks On The BATMAN V SUPERMAN Move; DC Announcements ‘Should’ Come This Month

Warner Bros. President of Production Dan Fellman has spoken to Entertainment Weekly regarding the new release date for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and the nine untitled DC movies booked from 2016 through 2020. Henry Simmons Joins Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. has a new Simmons! Henry Simmons (NYPD BLUE) will join the series in Season Two as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie. “Mack” is a mechanic who will be working with Director Phil Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) team. The character has been inspired by his comic book counterpart that first appeared in NICK FURY VS. S.H.I.E.L.D. #3. Continue reading

Kyle MacLachlan Joins Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Marvel continues to bolster the cast for AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. with Kyle MacLachlan set to play Skye’s (Chloe Bennett) father. As we learned in the show’s first season, Skye is an “0-8-4,” or an object of unknown origin. Much was made of the lengths S.H.I.E.L.D. went to in order to save an infant Skye. With MacLachlan playing her father, a character alluded to in the Season One finale, Skye’s mysterious backstory is sure to feature prominently in Season Two. Continue reading


Marvel’s AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Wraps Production As Whedon Ponders His Next Move

Yesterday, director Joss Whedon took to Twitter to announce that principal photography on Marvel’s AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON has wrapped. Release Date Rumble Crumbles- WB Moves BATMAN V SUPERMAN & Sets DC Release Dates

The release date rumble is now officially over before any real damage was done, just as we knew it would be. Warner Bros. has moved BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE off of May 6, 2016, where Marvel Studios already has CAPTAIN AMERICA 3, and onto March 25, 2016 (Source: Box Office Mojo). Warner Bros. has also set a number of proposed DC movie release dates that are a safe distance from Marvel’s many upcoming releases.
